By participating in the Cynefin project, you agree to release the data you contribute under the Creative Commons Zero licence.
This means that you waïve all copyrights and related or neighboring rights that you have over your contributed data. This will facilitate its access and re-use in the future.
Please ensure that you have the right to contribute the data to the Cynefin project. It is your responsibility to ensure that your data does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

The Cynefin project collects data about you in order to support the project and the website. This notice describes that data, how it is used and where it is stored. It also describes how the use of the website is monitored.
We respect the privacy of individuals who participate in the Cynefin project and we act in accordance with the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 1998.
Data we collect and how it is used
When registering as a user of the Cynefin project, you will be asked to create a username and provide an email address. You will use these, together with a password, to access your account.
Other users will not be able to see or access your email address, but your username will be displayed on the web in association with your contributions to the project.
The data collected from your work is also used to gather statistics and to encourage other users. It is your responsibility to use an alias if you wish to remain anonymous.
Sharing with third parties
Your username will be displayed on the web in association with your contributions to the project.
We will not release your e-mail to any third parties unless it is deemed necessary in order to continue to provide access to the Cynefin project website. This will only be done under terms of contract that protect your privacy.

Monitoring Use of the Website
The Cynefin project uses Google Analytics to gather statistics and to monitor general use of the website in order to make improvements to our services.
The website stores information identifying individual users and their contribution to the website and this will be used for statistical and quality monitoring.
The Cynefin project uses ‘cookies’, which are small amounts of data placed on users’ computer, for the purpose of usability and logging in
